Packet pick-up will be held at the event location the day of the race and will open at 7:30am. Please arrive at least one hour prior to your heat time to check in.

It is about 1.5 miles on a portion of the 5K course and includes many of our best obstacles and mud pits that are sure to thrill your Mini Mudders. (Ages 6 – 11)
The 5K run is for participants at least 11 and up. The Mini Mud is for ages 6 to 11. Kids under 6 are not eligible to do the run.
Yes, if you are an adult participant that is already registered for the Grand Rapids Mud Run 5K, there will be no fee as long as you wear your 5K race bib. For those adults not registered for the 5K run, you may join in the Mini Mud for a $15 fee. Look for the $15 Parent Runner Ticket Option. (Limit 2 parents:) Participants of all heats will be checked for registration at the start line.
We are unable to process any refunds or transfers of registrations.
There will be an area to go around all of the obstacles if you are unable to complete them.

Yes! Event day registrations will be available beginning an hour prior to the first run time on the day of the Grand Rapids Mud Run. Please check in and register one hour before your desired heat time. See Events Page for heat times.

Each runner will be allowed to check one bag. Lost and found will be located in the same area.
Parking is available in the Kentwood Community Church lot. You can access the parking lot off Kalamazoo Ave. (North of M-6) and Eastport Drive. Go West on Eastport Dr. and proceed past the Celebration Cinema then continue North on Eastport Drive. Turn North (right) on Ridgebrook Drive. The parking lot will be directly to your left.
Parking is only $5 $3. This year, to reduce contact for runners and volunteers, we are discounting the price of parking and including it in the ticket purchase. The price of each ticket will reflect this on the ticketing page (Eventbrite).
To qualify for the Kids Run Free promotion, register for the 5K as an individual or a team runner. During that registration process, you will be given the option to choose one free kids ticket. Enter all info as prompted. You will only be charged if you choose to purchase a t-shirt or medal for your child separately, as they are not included (extra shirts and medals must be added on when selecting your ticket type on Eventbrite, before clicking “Checkout”). Free Kids Ticket offer is good online only. Online shirt and medal purchase option only good thru 8-24-22
Following the run, results will be posted online with a link through Epic Race Timing. They will also be posted at the event site following your heat.

Teams consist of 4 members (no more, no less). Each team member signs up individually under the “team type” you choose (male, female, co-ed) and enters their team name when prompted. Be sure the team name is identical for each team member! Team time is determined by the last team member crossing the finish line. If a team member is not able to participate on event day, your team will be timed, however, you will not place as a team.
